More letterpress!

Put a final colour on my car postcards.......

Then had a go at mixing some type and colours for some simple Father's Day cards - although they could be for a birthday.

The lead type is easy to print and you do get what some people love about letterpress - the embossed effect but I've heard some people say this is bad practice if you can see the impression on the back of the card!

The wooden type was much harder to print - then I used my Caligo Inks and they printed really well! Still getting some texture but I've got over that as these lovely fonts have so much history and a few dinks is such a lovely characteristic.

So there you go.

I'm loving this - can you tell by the amount I'm waffling on?!
