Patterned blocks

Iv'e printed some blocks that I bought.

The first one of flowers is made from copper although it was mounted on wood - it was really hard to get a detailed print from it. It's more like a plate you would print using an Intaglio method.

The others, a fish, a budgie and a sun were lovely to print - so I made some gift tags. The cards were lovely! I ordered them from rikiandnina who sell some other great stuff...

I also used a different ink - the Caligo safewash inks. I only needed a tiny bit. Printed lovely, washed easy of course with soap and water but needed to make sure no water left on any of the equipment to avoid rust so a bit of WD was in order too just in case.

Great afternoon! going to print some notelets and cards next and pull my finger out and get them to a shop.....
